Super Shoes is once again sponsoring the 2009 Bill Beckwith 5K Race in Smithsburg, MD. The event begins at 7:00 AM on July 18, 2009 on the carnival grounds behind Smithsburg Fire Hall. The 5K Race is a challenging course through the countryside; slightly hilly with a fast finish. There is a Fun Run for those under the age of 15 which is a one mile run traversing part of the cross country team’s course. All proceeds will benefit the Smithsburg High Cross Country team.
